Screaming my loudest, no reply to my call

Adrift on a sea, cast away in the dark

Handling keepsakes, with a smile or a sigh

Taking in scent from a boxed scarf and glove

Taken back to the moment, and back to the love

Pause to think, take a drink. No one’s here anymore

Breathing in deeply, but aching at heart

Falling in slo-mo, falling apart

No one to catch me, my soul hits the floor
